गिरीले आफ्नी छोरीसँग प्रेम गरेको भन्दै प्रहरीसँगको मिलेमतोमा कथित तल्लो जातको सो केटोलाई जङ्गलमा लगेर निर्घात कुटेका छन् । यो मुद्दामा प्रहरी पनि मतियार बनेको छ ।
पीडित प्रेमले भने प्रेमका लागि अन्तिम सास रहुन्जेल लडिरहने बताएका छन् । ‘मैले बाहुनी भएको थाहा पाएर प्रेम गरेको होइन, प्रेम जात र औकात हेरेर गरिने कुरा पनि होइन । कहिलेसम्म कथित जातको नाममा प्रेमको हत्या गर्छौ, गर’ उनले निधारबाट बगेको रगत पुछ्दै भनेका छन्, ‘म अन्तिम सास रहेको बेलासम्म यो जात व्यवस्थाका विरुद्ध बोलिरहने छु ।’ यो घटनामा रङ्गमर्की विष्णुराज तिम्सिना, जनक पराजुली, पुरन क्षेत्री र सविता सापकोटा पनि मुछिएका छन् ।
सामाजिक न्याय र समताको आन्दोलन चलिरहेको यो बेला पोखराबाट बनेको यो फिल्मले फेरि नयाँ बहस सुरु गर्ने निर्माण पक्षको विश्वास छ ।
केटीका बाबु नवराज गिरीले उनीहरुसँग मिलेर प्रेमलाई कुटपिट गर्ने, धम्क्याउने र जबरजस्ती करणीको मुद्दामा प्रहरीलाई सुम्पिने योजना बनाएको खुलेको छ । सोही योजनाबमोजिम नवराजले पोखरा– १५ स्थित सीताराम पुलनजिकैको पार्कमा लगेर निर्घात कुटपटि गर्दै गरेको देखेपछि स्थानीयले प्रहरीलाई खबर गरेका थिए ।
