नेकपा भिमाद नगर कमिटी द्वारा आयोजित श्रद्धाञ्जली सभामा नेपाल कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी स्थायी कमिटी सदस्य एवम् गण्डकी प्रदेशका आर्थिक मामिला तथा योजनामन्त्री माननीय किरण गुरुङले स्व. खनालको योगदानको बारेमा चर्चा गर्नुभएको थियो ।
गुरुङले सधै सकारात्मक चिन्तन लिने नेकपाका असल कार्यकर्ता ध्रुब सरको निधनले समाजको नमुना ब्यक्ति गुमाउनु परेकोमा आफु लगायत सिंगो पार्टी पंक्ति पिडामा रहेको बताउनुभयो ।
मिजासिलो स्वभावका धनी खनालको निधनले सिङ्गो पार्टीलाई क्षती पुगेको बताउंदै शोकलाइ शक्तिमा बदलेर परिवर्तनको अभियानमा अगाडि बढ्नुपर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
नेकपा भिमाद नगर कमिटीका अध्यक्ष राम बहादुर थापाको अध्यक्षतामा भएको श्रद्धाञ्जली सभाको सञ्चालन नगर कमिटीका सचीव इमान थापाले गर्नुभएको थियो ।
