गोबिन्दाको नामबाट चर्चित गोबिन्दा आहूजाले ९० को दशकमा आफ्नो सदाबहार अभिनयबाट बलिउडमा राज गरे ।
गोबिन्दाले सन् १९८६ मा इल्जाम नामको फिल्मबाट बलिउडमा आफ्नो सुरुवात गरे । त्यतिबेलादेखि गोबिन्दाले एउटा लामो यात्रा तय गरेका छन् । सन् २०२० मा गोबिन्दाको कूल सम्पत्ति २ अर्ब बढी छ । गोबिन्दालाई उनको उत्कृष्ट कमिक भूमिका र पेप्पी डान्सका लागि चिनिन्छ । ‘इल्जाम’ पछि गोबिन्दाले ‘लभ’, ‘हत्या’, ‘जिते है शान से’, ‘हम जैसी’ लगायतका थुप्रै फिल्ममा अभिनय गरे । यी सबैलाई प्रशंसकले अत्यधिक रुचाए ।
गोबिन्दाले आफ्नो अभिनयकै कारण फिल्मी उद्योगमा छुट्टै पहिचान स्थापित गर्न सफल भए । कथित रुपमा गोबिन्दाले आफ्नो करियरमा १ सय ६५ भन्दा बढि फिल्ममा काम गरेका छन् । यद्यपि, गोबिन्दाको कूल सम्पत्तिमा कथित रुपमा ९० को दशकमा उतार–चढाव देखियो । उनले फिल्म शोला और शबनम, राजा बाबू, कुली नम्बर वान, हिरो नम्बर वान, दिवाना मस्ताना, दुल्हे राजा, बडे मियां–छोटे मियां, अनाडी नम्बर वान, हसिना मान जाएगी, साजन चले ससुराल र जोडी नम्बर वानमा देखिइसकेका छन् ।
यी फिल्मले दर्शकको शानदार प्रतिक्रिया पाएका छन् । गोबिन्दाले टेलिभिजन इन्टष्ट्रिमा पनि योगदान दिएका छन् । उनले डान्स इन्डिया डान्स, सुपर मम्सको सिजन टुमा पनि देखिएका थिए । तीन दशक लामो करियरमा ५६ वर्षीय अभिनेताले ठूलो प्रशंसा हासिल गरेका छन् । यसैबीच गोबिन्दा राजनीतिमा पनि होमिएका छन् । उनले थुप्रै फिल्मको निर्माणसमेत गरिसकेका छन् ।
